The Yorkshire Vase final between RI and Nestle Rowntree will take place on Saturday, March 14.

RI find themselves in a third final in three years, with last season's Papa Johns trophy still in pride of place in the trophy cabinet. The lads are still in with a chance of promotion and RI sit in second place and behind Nestle by just seven points, defeats coming against their opponents in the Vase final.

To reach this stage of the competition, York RI progressed past Wortley automatically before beating Hessle 35-8 in the semi. Nestle played Maltby, Knaresborough and Stocksbridge.

RI are also still in the hunt for the National cup (formerly Papa Johns) with a semi final vs Yorkshire 3 side Skipton in the coming weeks.

The treble is still on, with some tough games ahead.
